What San Antonio police thought was a standoff with a barricaded man and a female hostage ended early Friday with an empty house.
Police went to the house in northeastern San Antonio after a 911 operator received a report about 10 p.m. Thursday of a domestic disturbance there. Tactical officers surrounded the house and hostage negotiators tried to reach the man, but without success.
WOAI-AM of San Antonio reports police entered the house about 2 a.m. Friday and found no one inside. Neither the man nor the woman have been found.
